A fun Funko Pop video game is coming in 2024

As avid fans and collectors of Funko Pops, which can be found all over our site, we just had to post about the new Funko video game that is coming to PC and console. With characters and creatures from some of our favorite movies, series, sports teams, video games, and more, it’s easy to see why so many collectors have entire families of Funko Pop figures in their collections. So, you could imagine how psyched we were when we found out that these figures would be appearing in a fun new Funko video game that’s set to launch next year!

Funko Fusion is the name of the game, and it features a full cast of playable Funko Pop figures. Funko has brought so many popular characters to life with their Pops over the years, so we can expect the game’s cast to be quite vast. Since 10:10 Games, the studio behind the title, has only teased a few images and even a short trailer, we don’t have a full list of playable Funko characters yet. But, we were able to spot a few from various movies and TV shows, including:

John Carpenter is a personal favorite of mine, so I’m really looking forward to seeing some funky figures from The Thing featured in this game as well. With so many Funko Pop figures out there, it’s fair to assume that more playable characters will be added to the game as time goes on, especially if it proves to be as fun as it looks in the trailer. Speaking of the trailer, let’s have a look at that.

The teaser trailer for Funko Fusion was posted on YouTube earlier this week. It’s just under two minutes, but it’s long enough to get a good glimpse at all the thrills, fun, and adventures that the game has to offer. Click the image below to watch the trailer.

Now this is the kind of Pop! culture that we like to see in our games! Each character will present the personalities and abilities that they’re known for in their respective genres, which can be used to overcome different challenges. 10:10 Games has also let it be known that Funko Fusion will feature online multiplayer that will team you up with three other players. Together, your team of Pop characters can work as one to defeat enemies and solve mind-bending puzzles. And with an open world full of different settings, it seems like there will always be plenty to do and see.

So far, we know that Funko Fusion will be available on PC and unspecified consoles in 2024. That may seem like a long way off, but with the way this year has been moving, the release date for Funko Fusion will be here before you know it.

There is no official launch setup for Funko Fusion yet. However, the game’s developer is targeting sometime in early 2024, putting it somewhere between January and March. These days, dates can change and delays can rear their ugly heads at any moment, so we’re going to keep a close eye on this one.
