Welcome back to the Weekly Wave! Let’s see what news, updates, and announcements have risen to the surface this week!

Destiny 2 has a cool new Pride emote for all players to show off!

Just like last year, Bungie is celebrating and showing their support all throughout June for Pride month. In addition to adding rainbow colors to their website and logo, Bungie has introduced a FREE emote for Destiny 2 that players will love showing off in-game. They call it the Rainbow Connection emote, and it looks like this:

We thought this was awesome, and we can’t wait to start showing it off. So, how can you get the Rainbow Connection emote? Well, since it can’t be unlocked in-game, you’ll have to start by heading over to Bungie’s official site. There, you will find a code for this specific Pride Month emote (TK7-D3P-FDF). Once you’ve logged in, click the ‘Redeem Codes’ option from the drop-down menu.

After you've entered the code, you can go back to Destiny 2. Just make sure to head over to the Tower and talk to Rahool, that way you can claim it and add it to your emote slots. Also, Bungie has made the code available for last year’s Transmat Goodness emote. If you missed it last year, you can redeem it and use it this year. Just use the code featured on their site and redeem it using the same steps. Have fun!

Black Desert’s Land of the Morning Light Expansion!

If you’re looking for an epic, more enhanced online adventure, Black Desert is where you will find it! For those who don’t already know, Black Desert is a renowned MMORPG that welcomes gamers to an open world of intense combat, non-stop action, mystery, and intrigue. Every year since its release, Pearl Abyss, the game’s developer, has been looking to level up the experience for their players, and just last week, they did it again with their newest Land of the Morning Light Expansion!

The Land of Morning Light expansion offers Black Desert adventurers a fresh, unique gameplay experience packed with all kinds of new features, characters, and creatures that you’re sure to love. Some of the new features that players will find in this latest expansion include new playable zones, world boss battles (inspired by Korean Mythology), and new races (Hare, Tortoise, Tiger). The expansion also has an Awakening update that unlocks new weapons and abilities for the two twin classes.

Do you remember the cover of InQuest Magazine’s June issue from 1996? If so, this new arrival art from Michael Whelan should look familiar. Even if you were too or don’t recall that issue, let’s just say this is definitely a piece that you will want in your collection.
