Artists: War Sigil
I'm a life-long gamer and artist since the pencil & paper days of 1st edition D&D, and for a time went on to design maps and art for computer games at both the hobbyist and professional levels. Here I'm drawing on my experience in creating these immersive and attractive environments to put together some detailed textures for wargaming mats. Striving for more than just a great visual, some of my mat layouts will feature usable strategic features such as defensible positions and choke-points, adding another layer of complexity and fun to your battles. Whatever your size preference, each design should work great as either a 36" or 48" mat!
