Today, patchwork is a form of art, in which the designers use precious fabrics to create beautiful textiles. To create a beautiful quilt, however, requires effort and time. In Patchwork, two players compete to build the most aesthetic (and high-scoring) patchwork quilt. Choose your patches carefully and keep a healthy supply of buttons to not only finish your quilt, but to make it better and more beautiful than your opponent‘s.

I am pleasantly surprised with this game! It definitely sounds kind of lame but there is a level of strategy that I didn't anticipate. It's a new favorite game for me and my wife, and we tend to have different strategies that are both viable for winning which is great. No two games will ever be the same either due to the randomization. Highly recommend!
